We all have the trips we missed for one reason or another. One of mine was the VTXOA 4 Corners Ride in 2007. I have always wanted to ride the Utah Canyon lands, Along with the Colorado Rockies and New Mexico. Then I traded my VTX and moved to the ST world. To my amazement I find the ST 1300 group is having a Rally at Taos New Mexico. This almost exactly retraces the path of the missed canyon ride. How can I miss that? The Canyon lands of Utah are some of the most stunning areas of the world. This is the heart of the old west. Highlights include. Moab and Arches NP. Also access to Northern Districts in Canyonlands NP. Mesa Verde and the cliff dwellings. Monument Valley. Most all of your favorite westerns have been filmed here. Navajo Nation, nearby Navajo National Monument. Navajo Bridge and Marble Canyon. Zion NP. Hwy 12 through the Dixie National Forest and along the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. |
