| Whidbey Island 01/10/10 Its mid January and we have had no snow so far. It may be looking good for non of the white stuff this year. Its been pretty wet but we have had a dry weekend. Temps today are to be mid 50's. We thought it might be time for the Whidbey Island wander and GPS Squiggly Line ride. Fred, Roland and I met at the Local Jack In The box for a coffee and bite to eat. Then we were off heading north west towards the Island. The idea on a Squiggly Line ride is to simply ride in a general direction and look for Squiggly lines on the GPS and check them out. You don't know exactly were that is going to take you. Just keep going until you think you have to turn around. We got about half way down the island before we turned around. Will finish the rest some other day. |
