This event is around 20 years old. It is held late summer on Vashon Island. This
has been a very popular poker run and event. VME has tried to limit the growth of
the event by not publishing its publicly publishing the date. The date is only listed
in the VME news letter for which you need to be a member.
Vashon 2006

Much the same as last year. There seemed to be many more bikes this year. It was
a great weather day. Nice ride out in the early morning. Ferry was 60% full of bikes
on my trip. Had a nice buffet breakfast. Did not do the poker run but took my own
tour of the island.

Stopped at the great corner they have and took some video. I rode the corner
several times to take some video. But I forgot to check the zoom and found later
that the shots were unusable. Need to fire (again) the camera man.
