| This is the 2006 Ride Report. Sunday 3/19 turned out to be the perfect spring date to end the winter with. Riders from all over Western Washington and North Western Oregon came. We all meet at the gas station and milled around for 45 minutes or so. The first actual count was 35 bikes. But a good 20 arrived after that. So I think we were in the 50 plus area. We split into a fast and cruiser group. Departing just a few minutes past noon. The fast group was soon out of site. The roads were clear and traffic was light. There were some dusty areas and a few water spots here and there. Towards the top we found some good piles of snow on the sides of the road. The Cruisers made one stop just short of Coldwater to climb the snow banks and some photos. After a short period at the top we all started to make plans for our various returns. I have included the map for our North groups return ride. |
