Port Townsend, Washington. Sept 23-24th The Biker Blues Blast is a pre event to the Oyster Run. Held on the Friday and Saturday prior to the Sunday Oyster Run. From here you can take a scenic ferry ride on Sunday up Whidbey Island to Anacortes for the Oyster Run. The Blues Blast is a down home affair hosted by Kitsap Chapter Abate. Located at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. Bands, Vendors, Food, Beer, Showers, indoor and outdoor facilities including restroom's. Free (with admission) Camping. Sounds like a good stop and alternative to the Friday and or Saturday night activities in Anacortes. The Whidbey run is a very nice route into Anacortes. I have not taken that leg to the Oyster run but I imagine it is less crowded then Hwy 20? |
