| Rosalia, Wa. Aug 17-19 This is pretty much a direct route. Hwy 2 to Sprauge turning south. From Spraque it is a nice 47 mile ride into Rosalia. See map below. I would propose a 9am departure from the Chevron at the East end of Monroe on the South side of the road. We can try quick brunch stop at the restaurant at the Plain turn off just west of Leavenworth. This should put us in Rosalia around 3pm or so. Personal Opinion. It appears that The Next 100 Years is getting expensive. I never prepay on a rally just encase of bad weather or other issues. The 2 day fee at the rally is $45, camping is $10. Not bad at this point. But the main bands are an extra charge at $25 each night? So the cost is an even $105 bucks? Pretty hefty IMO. The Redwood Run is $120 and I do prepay that. But they have more and much better bands as well as a pretty good steak dinner. I note the downtown stage closes as the main stage is starting. I am hoping that the Barn Dance is still on. I hope the promoters are not over pricing this event. I think this is the 3rd year. It was a blast last year. There was mention of a beer garden and shade area at the campsite but it also mentioned and entrance fee? So lets not price this event out of site? So having said that I will be there again this year and reserve final opinion. This event has been a must do for me since 2005.
