| PNW ROAD RIDERS SPRING BREAK 2007 04/27-30 Day 2, John Day Or, to Lewiston, Id. It was a grand day of riding. Right up to the point when for the second year in a row I was blessed with a FLAT TIRE. Last year it happened over night. On Sunday morning I found I had a flat. This year I had a flat on the highway at speed. Fortunately there was a truck scale exit right were I had the flat. So I had an escape route of the highway. I was able to stop without going down. A $100 tow job got me to the Hotel. I was luck to only be 6 miles out of town. Was able to plug the hole on Sunday but could not inflate due to the broken bead. So I missed the Sunday ride. |
| Monday morning I was able to get Les Schwab to send a service truck. With the proper equipment they were able to pop the bead and inflate the tire. All at No Charge. But before that we had a full day of great riding. Starting with a great breakfast at Prairie City. Video. |
